ULC Book Club

The ULC Book Club did not meet in February. We have moved teh discussion of our February book selection (The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin) to our March meeting on Thursday, March 16 at 10 am. Synopsis: Bookstore owner A.J. Fikry feels nothing in his life is as it should be. A.J. copes with this by slowly distancing himself from everyone around him. When a mysterious package arrives at his bookstore A.J. Fikry is given a chance to make his life over.
ULC Book Club meets the third Thursday of the month at 10a. We offer three ways to participate. You can join us in person at ULC in the Fireside room, join us via ZOOM or we can send you a recording of the discussion.
Our book selections can be found on the book club table at Schuler’s Book Store. Purchase a copy from this table and receive a 20 percent discount on the book.
We welcome new members to our book club and would love to have you join us in person at ULC in the Fireside room. If you are not comfortable with meeting in person or have health concerns, we also provide a ZOOM link. If you would like to read the books along with us, but cannot make one or more meetings, we record the discussion and can provide you with an audio file of the meeting.
We would love for you to join us! Please reach out to Beth Rahe and Mary Kotnik to be added to our email list and stay informed about future book choices, ZOOM links and any changes in meeting times or venue.
Looking ahead, in April we will discuss The Music of Bees by Eileen Garvin.
