WorshipChildren are important to us here at ULC and we’re dedicated to providing a strong foundation for their lifelong faith formation. During worship, we invite you and your children to worship, learn, and grow together toward the front of the Sanctuary.
Consider the “Three E’s” that help us welcome a child’s participation in worship:

Join us on Sunday mornings for
FAITH FORMATION @ ULC
between services from 9:40 am to 10:30 am
(on hiatus during Covid-19 closure)
Children two years old through 12th grade are invited to attend Sunday Faith Formation classes between services from 9:40 to 10:30 a.m. every Sunday morning (September 16th-May). All classes are held downstairs in the Education wing.
Early LearnersThis is a special time set aside for small children, ages 2-4 years old, while parents are enjoying coffee, tea, and fellowship in small groups during the education hour. Our early learners will be welcomed and accompanied by youth and young adult leaders for storytime, music, and crafts.
Children K-5![]() We love this year’s SparkHouse “Activate Faith” curriculum for children Kindergarten through 5th grade because it’s creative, interactive, and FUN: following the lectionary (or weekly readings in Sunday worship), the lessons our children learn in Sunday School overlap with what we hear, see, and experience in worship.

Children's ChoirTakes place during Sunday School for Kindergarten through 5th Grade at 9:40 a.m. Children’s Choir will gather every other Sunday in the children’s music room. They will sing throughout the year in worship and a schedule will be provided for parents.
Middle School/High SchoolIn two small groups: grades 6th-8th and 9th-12th, students will explore their faith with SparkHouse “Echo the Story.” Using stories from Creation to the formation of the church, our youth and their leaders will use a variety of methods in storytelling and creative reflection to retell the story of faith.
