New Sunday School Program starting this Fall!
Fall 2024 marks our transition from our previous Worship Wednesday program to a Sunday morning program. This transition comes from the results of various congregational surveys to find a day and time that works for the most people as we transition to in-person gatherings once again. The day and time that works best for the most people is Sundays at 9am. Our program will begin on September 22nd and will include Bible stories, snacks, music, playtime, and an occasional special craft. We will be meeting as a large group until our numbers necessitate breaking out into smaller groups. Please mark your calendars and come! Registration information is below!
There will also be a time to gather together as adults at this same 9am time. We will gather in the Fireside room for Bible study, fellowship, and whatever else is feeding for the group (open to suggestions!).

Children in Worship
Children are important to us here at ULC and we’re dedicated to providing a strong foundation for their lifelong faith formation. We invite you and your children to worship, learn, and grow together toward the front of the Sanctuary.

Consider the “Three E’s” that help us welcome a child’s participation in worship:
- Educate: It is our joy and hope that children will feel welcome to worship in ways that uniquely appeal to their cognitive development. Each week a variety of books related to the theme of the day, as well as “Celebrate!” inserts that help children follow along with the liturgy, are provided.
- Engage: Being up front is a great way for children to see, hear, learn, and participate in worship! Each week there will be a variety of different ways to capture the imagination of our children through the sharing of scripture, music, dancing, coloring pages, puzzles, and more.
- Equip: By providing a dedicated place for children in worship, they are better able to concretely understand their value as a child of God, and to know, “There’s a place for me here.”
