Midweek Worship Schedule
Our Lenten worship theme is Priceless Grace. Holden Evening Prayer will be our liturgy, and our Wednesday midweek Scripture reading will be the previous Sunday’s reading, giving us a chance to continue reflecting on the reading. In addition to the reading each Wednesday, there will also be a monologue to help us to reflect on the passage.
Hopefully by having our midweek Lenten worship both in-person and online will enable more people to worship and experience the beauty of Holden Evening Prayer and immerse themselves in the message of John’s version of Jesus’ ministry and passion.
Lent is a wonderful season to take time to pause from the often-hectic pace of life so that we can deepen and expand our faith practices by setting aside additional time for prayer, Scripture reading, or worship. I hope that this Lent will be a special one for you as we return to in-person worship and reflect on John’s unique understanding of Jesus’ passion.
Blessings on your Lenten journey,
Pastor Gary Bunge
