All are welcome at University Lutheran Church! As a part of that welcome we strive to make our building and worship space accessible to all.

​The following accommodations are currently in place:

​Building Accessibility:
• Handicap parking spaces located in the parking area across from the main entrance
• Curb cuts and marked automatic entrance doors
• Elevator access to the lower level Fellowship Hall and Education Wing
• ADA Accessible restrooms and emergency shelters available on both levels

​Sanctuary Accessibility:
•Our sanctuary is located on the main level.
•Automatic entrance door from narthex to sanctuary
•Large print bulletins, auditory amplifiers and headphones, fidgets, weighted blankets, wiggle seats, sound blocking headphones and visors are available near the sanctuary entrance. Ushers are available to assist as needed.
•Pew cutouts to accommodate wheelchair or walkers
•Chairs with arms are available in addition to pew seating
•Accessible emergency egress, marked with a lighted sign is located at the south exit at the front of the sanctuary.

​​About Communion:
• As an ELCA congregation, we celebrate open communion. All are welcome.
• All of our communion bread is gluten-free.
• Both wine and grape juice are provided.
• Communion is offered at stations, but can be brought to individuals where they are worshipping by making that need known to the ushers. 

Alternative Worship Space:
• A sensory-friendly alternative worship space is available in the Fireside Room during services where a live-stream of the service is displayed in a setting where worshippers can control lighting
and volume.
